I started assembling this Tamiya kit on the 1/35 scale and then added the DML / Dragon ambulance conversion set. The model was painted with Tamiya acrylics, then added some wear with Ak Interactive paints. The stretcher, used to carry the wounded, was painted with Tamiya Buff xf-57 and after whashing and drybrushing, I finished with oil paints, to highlight the cloth effect of the stretcher. To finish, I used Chinese Red, to reproduce the drops of blood on the litter.
I had to modify the rear suspension of the kubelwagen, leaving lower than normal, almost touching the wheels, to give the effect of weight on the vehicle, once the vehicle is overloaded, resulting from some many different boxes With medical equipment you are transporting.
