RED ARMY 45mm AT Gun M1942

This weapon is a 45mm model 1942 anti-tank gun with L / 62 type cannon tube. It weighed around 510kg and fired a projectile of 1.43kg with penetration capacity of 51mm of shielding to 1000metros of distance. Despite the small caliber, the weapon was so efficient that it remained in service in the Red Army throughout the war, actively participating in the battles for the Motherland defense and in the fronts of attack during the invasion of Germany.

KONSOMOLETS TRACTOR AND CREW

I used Miniart figures to detail the tiny Russian T-20 tractor. With few adaptations in the posture of the figures a good result is obtained. The heads are in resin from Verlinden and Alpine. The heads of the Miniart figures are not good.

U.S TRUCK w/ 105mm HOWITZER

To make this set, I used Heller's truck with the Dragon Howitzer. In this combination of kits, we need a very large diorama base to accommodate this classic American artillery ensemble.

SOVIET TRACTOR AND LIMBER

An interesting combination of kits to replicate the initial phase of the war on the eastern front and use the T-20 Konsomolez. In this scene, I put this little tractor towing a limbo ammunition of the type 52-R-353M model 1938. This version is with wheels of an older model, since the Limber model 1942 used the same type of wheels of the trucks GAZ- AA. Both kits are Maquette and as miniart figures. Scale 1/35.

GMC CCKW 353

This classic American truck kit is from Heller, on the 1/35 scale. This type comes with open cabin and features a well detailed engine. There is another kit similar in the market, manufactured by Italeri, but it is of the closed cabin type of metal.

U.S 105mm HOWITZER

This Dragon kit on the 1/35 scale of the American Howitzer 105mm was mounted in the transport position. Finished in the Olive Green standard of the US Army in WW2.

ITALERI: U.S WILLYS JEEP and TRAILER

My interpretation of the old Italeri jeep kit with the US Army trailer. Scale 1/35. It was finished in the usual manner in Modelmaster's Olive Green. Follow the result:

JAGDPANZER IV VOMAG

This panzerjager model was painted with tamiya acrylics and had intense whashing with oils. Drybrushing, rust, pigments finalize the tank with a more realistic finish possible. The figures are Alpine and Miniart, with resin head of Verlinden.

British tank Cromwell, tactical markings of 2º Welsh Guards in Nijmegen, during Market-Garden operation, in september 1944. I matched the Tamiya Cromwell A27M with Hornet metal figures, all on the 1/35 scale. This diorama is still in progress. When completed will be presented here in this blog.
